Anti-Gay Hospital Agenda

I trust you will remember that tragic case involving Janice Langbehn and her spouse - a Lesbian couple - who were kept apart from each other during a medical emergency in Miami, FL.  Janice was told, "You are in an anti-Gay city and an anti-Gay state; and you will be told nothing about her"; not even when she was dying would the hospital staff allow her this common courtesy.  Since them, President Obama has announced that hospitals must adopt policies that extend visitation rights to Gay and Lesbian couples.  This statement, has had no effect upon the anti-Gay agenda of WI. Governor, Scott Walker (or the relationships of my GLBT brothers and sisters!), who wants hospitals to prevent Gay spouses from visiting each other in the hospital, perhaps unhder the guise that it's an attempt to "redefine the 'Traditional Family'":
“Governor Walker, in deference to the legal opinion of the attorney general that the domestic partner registry . . . is unconstitutional, does not believe the public interest requires a continued defense of this law,” says a brief from Walker, filed by his counsel Brian Hagedorn.
Remember Janie and the pain that she surely endured at the hands of Miami Hospital staff each time an anti-Gay group or politician attempts to undermine our rights and our person-hood.
